    Sustainability at Tata Power-DDL is aligned with the Vision & Mission of Tata Group and Tata Power-DDL’s Sustainability Policy. The company is sensitive to the aspect of climate change and committed to introduce energy efficient and greener technologies along with identification of the mitigation & offset opportunities in a cost-effective manner. We also carry forward the Group's ethos of giving back to society through its Corporate Social Responsibility division.

    As part of the Tata Group, we have set targets across the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) parameters aligned to UN Sustainability Development Goals, continuously monitoring our progress against the stated objectives, and proactively undertake course correction if needed. Our sustainability targets are based on the issues most material to our stakeholder including decarbonisation, water neutrality, and zero waste to landfill, among others. As we move closer to realising our goals, we are revolutionising the power sector, and building a brighter, more sustainable future.

    Environment

    Aligned with targets of Tata Group, we have pledged to achieve ‘Carbon Net Zero’ by 2045, by prioritizing green energy, electrical vehicles and reducing other GHG Emissions.

    • The company has compost plants for composting food waste at itstraining centre since 20XX and reusing the same for gardening purpose in the premises.
